IMPORTANT COVID-19 INFORMATION FOR CENTRAL FLORIDA
Starting this week, the Senior Connection Center (the Area Aging Agency for the State of Florida’s Department of Elder Affairs in our area) will begin a door-to-door campaign to reach older adults to provide up-to-date information on Covid vaccines. More specific information is available HERE. Their Elder Helpline is 1-800-963-5337.

The We’ll Meet You at Home campaign is a statewide initiative to disseminate resources and bring COVID-19 vaccinations to home-bound seniors, provide transportation to vaccination sites, or book an appointment. For more information, CLICK HERE.

The mission of the Rath ConNEXTions Center, as a non-profit, free service, is to “provide seniors 50+ with education, resources, services, advocacy, and leadership, enabling them to age with independence and dignity” in Central Florida.
This mission is realized through Senior Scholars education programs, referrals to agencies providing assistance and resources, and support groups. Ongoing seminars and meetings provide current information and research related to healthcare, social services, housing, transportation, and mental health.
